ABOUT

The First edition of Data World Congress will take place December 18-19th 2014 in Courchevel, France!

The scale and potential impact of big data has been compared to that of the Internet, a paradigm shift that can change all aspects of our society and economy.

Data World Congress is the first European conference designed to cut through the noise and understand the value of big data, provide insight on the impact of big data on business and innovation, as well as explore the challenges of adopting and implementing a true data strategy.

This event will gather in an informal and intimate setting the top international actors, experts and leaders of the Data ecosystem to:

- Exchange ideas and insights during 2 days of panels presentations, workshops and informal interactions,

- Highlight and award the best cases of data applications during an international dedicated competition: the Data Cristal Awards,

- Enjoy networking opportunities amongst peers (C-level, Managing Directors, Fortune 1000) during private lunches, cocktails, dinners and workshops.

The concept for Data World Congress stems from the Data Tuesday, a monthly event in Paris, created by 3 start-ups: Data Publica, Captain Dash and MFG Labs and French leaders and data practitioners such as Gilles Babinet, Digital Champion for France.
